As everyone knows, Arfon was involved in a work accident on the 23rd October, where he almost lost his life. This amazing hospital gave me my husband back, and thanks to their family accommodation for emergency situations, allowed me to sit at his bedside for the whole 2 weeks he was there, free of charge. This took such a massive strain off myself, and allowed me to meet others going through similar and talk through our feelings. Without them, I could never have gotten through this x

Home from home is literally what is says on the tin. They took all the stress of being so far away from home away from me, whilst also providing a place to wash and dry my clothes, a place to cook and eat, my own bathroom, and even a quiet room to sit and process what has just happened. The support you get from the staff here is just unreal, and without these angels, many families would have struggled just like I feared I would when I first arrived at the hospital. Home from home is completely charity run, which is why I would like to support this cause, and allow more families to have this support when going through such a traumatic time in their lives.
