Hi. We're Jen & Alice, the daughter & granddaughter of Anne Grist who gained her wings at The Walton Centre on 13th April 2025. For us, fundraising for The Walton Centre Charity in memory of our beautiful Anne "with an e" is a very special way of remembering and celebrating her life.

Our mum and nanna arrived at The Walton Centre on 16th January 2025 for an operation on a Skull Base Meningioma. Her smile never ceased to shine whilst in the expert care of the highly skilled critical care nurses and specially trained critical care practitioners. It took 88 days for heaven to gain an angel and a piece of our hearts. She taught us more about strength and love than she'll ever realise, and we are forever proud of her!!

It costs The Walton Centre Charity approximately £50,000 a year to run the unit, which is provided free to families who need it when their loved ones are undergoing urgent treatment at the hospital. All donations make a real difference to patients and their families treated at The Walton Centre now and in the future.

£20 funds 1 night
