Run for Dad Donate I'm fundraising for The Walton Centre Charity because in 2020 during Covid lockdown my Dad was taken under blue light to The Walton Centre. He had suffered a bleed in his brain after falling at home and sustaining multiple injuries. The staff looked after my Dad with compassion and supported my Mum during our visits when only one person could go in to see Dad. They gave my Dad 2 more years of life and for that my family a very grateful. I will be running a half marathon every month this year in memory of my parents who have now both sadly passed away.About The Walton Centre:The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field.
