In 2022 our friend and colleague Phil Conde was admitted to The Walton Centre where he received excellent care from everyone there. Unfortunately, in October 2022 Phil lost his battle.

To show our gratitude, staff at Freedom will be walking 26 miles along the Shropshire Union Canal on Friday September 19th 2025 to raise money for the fabulous team at The Walton Centre who cared so well for our friend.

The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilipsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson.
