Giving something back Donate As you know, my mum was really poorly last year, she had a double Subanacroid Hemorrhage on her brain 🧠. She had about four brain operations in two months. We were told to prepare for the worst, mum fought and fought, she spent four months in hospital two months was at rehab. Mum now has got hydrocephalus due to the bleed, hydrocephalus is were the CSF fluid doesn't drain the way it should, so shes had a shunt fitted. After a month when mum was discharged, our David was taken in to the Walton center to, he had brain surgery to repair his shunt.David has had many operations in the Walton center. We met a family from the Isle of man, Megan has been to an from the Walton center for many years, they are amazing with her also.We are still in touch now. We also met a family from Warrington - Laura's husband Gary was really poorly and they saved his life. We are still in touch now.
