In 2010, my family and I learned that my dad had a brain tumour, which required surgery to remove it. This surgery was carried out by the amazing Walton Centre.

Sadly, in 2015, the tumour and cancer returned. This time, it was located at the back of his brain, making it inoperable due to its position. Throughout this difficult time, the staff at the Walton Centre were incredible, providing unwavering support to both my dad and our family. If it weren't for their care, I wouldn't have had the precious seven years with my Dad after his operation in 2010.

Sadly, in 2017, My amazing Dad lost his battle with his tumour and cancer. However, the Walton Centre continues to do remarkable work, and their impact remains a lasting part of our lives. Sophia Jones
