My name is Joanna and I’m fundraising for The Walton Centre - Home from Home, alongside my colleagues at Turning Tides, to give back for the incredible care, support and kindness my family received during one of the most difficult times of our lives. We will be taking part in a Sponsored Walk on the 29th August 12pm from Llandudno lifeboat Station to The Cayley Arms in Rhos-on-Sea and return.

After my dad, Steven “Ben”, suddenly became seriously unwell, The Walton Centre provided specialist care and treatment, while Home from Home supported our family by providing my dad’s partner, Trish, with somewhere close by to stay. Having that support during such an emotional and uncertain time made a huge difference to us all, and I want to help ensure other families receive that same comfort and support when they need it most.
